More Random Pics

Here are some more random pics...I am trying to get a bunch posted before we leave for the bush! Josh eating some roasted corn we can buy from guys on the sides of the road...it is really good but not at all like sweet corn..it is the kind of corn we use to make popcorn so it is chewier (they call it maize here)

the trees that line the streets here are absolutely beautiful...they are called Kakaracha trees (I am sure that it spelled completely wrong) and have huge red flowers in the spring.
Liam has instantly taken to bargaining with a passion...in fact, he bargains for everything whether we need it or not, which is quite dangerous...several times I have found him making a deal with a seller about some random item and I have to nicely let them down! Here he is showing off some items that he got for free since the lady was so impressed with his skills! (she really knew that once she gave free things to my kids, that I would feel obligated to buy stuff from here and it worked...Happy early birthday, Carson!)
